Purpose of the role:
The role covers the management of the day-to-day activity of the Listed Company Secretary team across Jersey and Guernsey offices and the delivery of a high quality service to a portfolio of fund-related entities in relation to the function.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and coordinating the teams activates and resources
- Providing management support and guidance on listed fund activity by reviewing changes in legislation and corporate governance
- Guiding the team on such changes and initiating procedural changes where necessary
- Responsible for the coordinating the onboarding of new business
- Assist with training of other team members as required (cross training)
- Lead some team projects/initiatives
Skills required:
- ICSA qualified or hold an equivalent qualification
- Minimum 5 years relevant industry experience
- Extensive corporate governance experience
- Good understanding of both Jersey and Guernsey Law and related legislations
- Experience dealing with Listed Funds and Stock Exchange listing requirements
- A good understanding of the relevant fund compliance requirements
