Purpose of the role:
To be responsible for the autonomous management of a group of real estate and private equity funds. Reporting to the Board and overseeing a team, which is inclusive of Relationship Managers.
Responsibilities:
- Contributing to the strategic direction of the Company and clients
- Reporting to both the Partner/Director and relevant Board and managing expectations
- Managing a client book autonomously in all aspects, with hands-on supervision of the operations of the team
- To promote the benefits of investing in products and other regulated professional advisors
- Communicating with Investment Advisors and Managers on investment performance, strategy and compliance matters
- To engage with its clients and take on mandates
- To maintain connections with business providers and actively develop the existing database
Skills required:
- To be professionally qualified in ICSA/ACCA/ICAEW or equivalent
- Have 10 years+ experience working in a Trust or Funds environment
- Have advanced accounting/administration skills
- Good knowledge and understanding of relevant general UK and US tax principles and tax legislation
