Purpose of the role:
The Associate Director will act in a supportive role to members of the senior leadership team, to lead the day to day client facing activity ensuring this is aligned to and promotes the business’ strategy and culture. The role holder will also be responsible for growing their own portfolio of clients by actively engaging in business development activities.
Key Accountabilities:
- The Associate Director will act in a supportive role to members of the senior leadership team, to lead the day to day client facing activity ensuring this is aligned to and promotes the business’ strategy and culture. The role holder will also be responsible for growing their own portfolio of clients by actively engaging in business development activities.
- They will interact directly with their clients and be responsible for client communication and the statutory maintenance of their own portfolio, working to identify client needs and drive up levels of client service as well as activity seeking to identify new business opportunities.
- The role holder will need to review the BD strategy document as in conjunction with their Director, will be a reference point on technical and other matters and will seek to nurture and develop existing, new and emerging product lines.
Knowledge and Experience:
- The successful applicant will have significant industry experience of working with High Net Worth clients and on complex structures within the fiduciary field and will demonstrate first class client service delivering against the needs and demands of high net worth clients both from prior experience and through driving the performance of others.
- The role holder will have demonstrable experience of leading, coaching and supporting colleagues and prior managerial experience of Senior Manager/Manager level and below is essential.
- The Associate Director will put our clients at the centre of everything they do, building relationships with their clients, team, Board directors, the operational team, and external parties.
