Assistant Trust Officer - Private Wealth

Purpose of the role:

To provide assistance and support to the team with the day-to-day administration of a portfolio of client company and trust structures, ensuring that an efficient and high-quality service is delivered to our clients at all times.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring receipt of funds and providing confirmation when received
  • Drafting simple correspondence for review to include emails, letters, minutes
  • Assist with opening bank accounts
  • Maintaining and updating data on our systems
  • Dealing with safe custody items
  • Assisting with completion of checklists and new business take on forms

Skills required:

  • Educated to minimum GCSE level or equivalent
  • Some office or general administrative experience would be an advantage but is not essential
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills for dealing with colleagues, intermediaries, and clients at all levels
  • Excellent written and verbal English, including a confident telephone manner
  • Good IT skills with a solid knowledge of Microsoft Office
