Purpose of the role:
To ensure that all legal requirements for the organisation as directed by relevant corporate regulatory, statute or licence are met and adhered to, whilst managing the Client Support Services (CSS) team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day activities within the Client service support team (CSS) and monitor individual’s chargeable time
- To carry out Performance & Development Reviews, ensuring the objectives are achieved and that training requirements are identified and implemented
- Undertake in-depth AML/CDD reviews and manage the take on and trigger event process for multi risk clients
- Provide oversight of all registry filings for Jersey company changes, this will include special resolutions, dissolution, beneficial ownership and control and significant persons in line with the Jersey disclosure law
- Manage and maintain the core date base for all AML and statutory records
- Manage a team of 8 staff in Jersey
Skills required:
- Have professional expertise and/or experience to develop and implement revised or new administrative, technical or professional policies and processes, with specific focus on CDD/AML and Company Secretary tasks
- Have an excellent understanding of complex structures and quickly articulate the CDD requirements as well as make quick and concise decisions and clearly articulate the rationale is needed
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- At least 3 years' experience managing a client onboarding/ Statutory team within the Company/Trust or fund Industry
