Assistant Manager Operations and Finance
Role Overview:
The role is aligned and sits with Group Finance Operations based in Jersey. The Finance Department comprises Group Reporting, Group Accounting, Group Financial Operations/Integrations/Projects, ICS Finance and PCS Finance.
Main responsibilities:
- Responsible for the review and authorisation of payments on various banking platforms, including Faster Payments, CHAPS, Foreign payments, ACH, Wires.
- Adhere to external and internal deadlines in accordance with bank cut off times and Internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Approve payment instructions as an authorised signatory for the settlement of internal costs, ensuring sufficient rationale provided and liaising with the client's offices in multiple jurisdictions.
- Share responsibility for the administration of banking platforms and the update of bank mandates, liaising with banks as required across various jurisdictions.
Essential requirements:
- Experience with banking platforms and payment approval preferred.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work to deadlines with multiple priorities.
- Ability to guide, coach and mentor junior colleagues.
