Assistant Manager - Governance, Risk & Compliance

Purpose of the role:

You will provide high quality managerial support and supervise the workloads of the administrators within the Jersey team.

Responsibilities:

  • To comply with all internal policies and procedures
  • Supervision of the Administrators, their daily workloads and general performance
  • Escalation point in relation to any potential screening matches or identified client risk
  • Maintaining the content within Compliance Registers
  • Assist with board reporting and similar management information
  • Completion of CMP testing, identifying risk and recommending solutions
  • Manage the remediation of the CMP testing, identifying risk and recommending solutions

Skills required:

  • Experience of working in an office environment in particular within the Corporate/Trust industry
  • Excellent understanding of the Jersey Regulatory Framework and AML / CFT Statutory Legislation
  • Management and supervision experience
  • An understanding of high-risk features such as PEP’s, sanctions, sensitive business activities, material jurisdictional connections
  • Knowledge of statutory filing requirements in relation to the specific client structure (desirable)
  • Relevant compliance qualifications e.g. ICA (desirable)
  • Experience of Navision (NAV) (desirable)
  • Experience of RiskScreen (desirable)
