Purpose of the role:
You will be responsible for providing high-quality administration for a portfolio of Corporate and Fiduciary clients with particular emphasis on the client service aspects of the business, delivering excellent client services levels at all times. You will assist in developing a team of motivated and high proficient Administrators, providing technical support and training.
Responsibilities:
- Administer a portfolio of corporate clients and ensure that client relationships and transactions are managed effectively and to a high standard
- Act as a role model to all Governance Services employees and assist, in developing a team of motivated, highly proficient Administrators who act in accordance with the firm's values and in parallel to the firm's service levels
- Ensure that you have an understanding of the transactions you are working on, provide technical support and training to team members as and when required
- Ensure client expectations are properly managed and valuable relationships are nurtured so as to maximise the reputation of the team in the marketplace and the potential for repeat work and referrals
- Assist with the effective management of the day to day activities of the team to include timely processing of work, meeting transactional and internal procedural deadlines, recording time (if applicable) and managing WIP and debt collection
Skills required:
- You should have proven industry experience and ideally hold a relevant professional qualification such as STEP or ICSA
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft desktop software. Knowledge of specialist legal industry software e.g. Document Management Systems (Worksite) and Viewpoint an advantage
- Must be able to demonstrate initiative, be proactive, accurate, and well-organised
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential, together with the ability to build relationships, working as part of a team to achieve a common goal
