Purpose of the role:
You will be responsible for providing high quality administration for a portfolio of corporate and fiduciary clients with particular emphasis on the client service aspects of the business, delivering excellent client services levels at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Administer a portfolio of corporate clients and ensure that client relationships and transactions are managed effectively and to a high standard
- Act as a role model to all Governance Services employees and assist in developing a team of motivated, highly proficient administrators who act in accordance with the firm's values and in parallel to the law firm service levels
- Ensure you have an understanding of the transactions you're working on, providing technical support and training to team members as and when required
- Ensure client expectations are properly managed and valuable relationships are nurtured so as to maximise the reputation of the team in the market place and the potential for repeat work and referrals
- Assist with the effective management of the day to day activities of the team to include timely processing of work, meeting transactional and internal procedural deadlines, recording time (if applicable and managing WIP and debt collection
- Ensure consistent high quality service levels are adhered to across your portfolio of clients and deal swiftly with any identified issues
Skills required:
- Proven corporate administration experience
- Hold a relevant professional qualification (such as STEP or CGI)
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft desktop software
- Knowledge of specialist software e.g. Document Management Systems and Viewpoint would be an advantage
- Having good communication and interpersonal skills
