Purpose of the role:
To share technical knowledge, experience and promote multi-jurisdictionally the importance of business controls, to promote the positive image of the company externally and develop a strong culture appreciation internally of the application and adherence of business controls.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the liaison with ISAE 3402 auditors, internal readiness assessments and control testing processes
- Work collaboratively with the client Operations team and client facing teams to understand day to day processes in order to determine control effectiveness and resolving any deficiencies identified through monitoring and audits
- You will be involved in controls monitoring to ensure timely adherence of business controls and frequent reporting, ensuring escalation as required
- Pro-actively take on additional responsibilities and tasks as required by your line manager and the Client Operations team
- Responsible for participating in appropriate projects and initiatives relating to the Client operations team
- Attend and constructively contribute to regular Client Operations team meetings and other internal Committees/meetings as required from time to time
- Establish high standards for the quality of outputs from each team member/contractor
- Assist in meeting team objectives and meet set internal and external SLA’s
- Development/enhancement of team specific procedures
Skills required:
- Accredited or working towards a recognised qualification (ICSA, ACCA or ACA)
- 3 -5 years’ relevant finance industry experience
- Demonstrated skills and/or appreciation and understanding of business controls
- ISAE 3402 experience
- Experience of developing and coaching others
