Assistant Manager - Client Accounting Team - Jersey

Purpose of the role:

As a key member of the Client Accounting and Reporting team, you’ll help manage the financial records and reporting for multiple client entities.

Responsibilities:

  • Take hands-on responsibility for bookkeeping and accounts production across a portfolio of client entities, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.
  • Prepare and/or review management accounts and financial statements (unaudited and audited), applying the appropriate accounting standards (FRS 102, FRS 102 Section 1A and IFRS as relevant).
  • Maintain accurate client ledgers, ensuring all transactions are supported by appropriate source documentation.

Skills required:

  •  Holds a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proven experience in a Real Estate accounting role, with extensive exposure to offshore trusts, company structures and partnerships at both PropCo and HoldCo levels.
  • Strong practical understanding of FRS 102, FRS 102 Section 1A and IFRS.
