Purpose of the role:
Our client is currently recruiting for an Assistant Manager, Client Accounting who will be responsible for the management of an agreed portfolio of the more complex and key entities for the production of financial statements, management accounts and other financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Manage an agreed portfolio of the more complex entities for the production of Financial Statements, Management accounts and other financial reporting
- Carry out high level reviews of financial statements prepared by team members, ensuring the financial statements are accurate and in accordance with relevant accounting standards
- Assist in the development of an operating framework which supports the growing needs of the business, utilising shared service centres (where applicable) and play an active part in the deployment strategy
- Support the production of monthly and quarterly Management Information and present findings in relevant governance forums
Skills required:
- JFSC Category B, Table 4/5 qualification or equivalent
- 5 years of financial services experience
- Demonstrate successful relevant experience at a high level in a similar role
- Have a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of accounting standards, trust administration and Jersey Company Law and the ability to remain up to date with appropriate legislation and professional standards
