Purpose of the role:
The successful candidate will be a dynamic member of the Risk and Compliance team which will involve undertaking day-to-day tasks of the Risk and Compliance team to meet the needs of the company. When arising the successful candidate will be asked to be involved in wider Risk and Compliance related projects as and when these emerge.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Compliance Officer with conducting of the CMP and the staff training and awareness raising programme.
- Support and guide the business as and when required where there are scenarios that are complex or do not fit neatly within the current process as set out in the policies and procedures.
- Assist with regular (minimum of quarterly) written reports to the Board and relevant committees in support of changes to the company regulatory framework
Key skills and experience requirements:
- Holding or studying towards relevant professional qualifications. Compliance related qualifications preferable but not required.
- Must have entitled to work status in Jersey (i.e. minimum 5 years in Jersey).
- Must be fluent in English.
