This role has primary responsibility for the day‑to‑day integrity of the Group’s ledgers and reporting cycle while being part of a small team to deliver accurate, timely bookkeeping, management accounts, quarterly Group consolidations and audit readiness.
Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, you will be a hands‑on controller who can improve processes, uplift controls, and turn data into insight with Excel, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and quarterly Board reporting.
In addition, being able to support the Accounts team in completing some of these tasks, when required. Therefore, basic understanding of booking keeping is essential, as well as being able to step back and review key reporting.
Skills required:
- Part or fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/other relevant qualifications)
- Solid month‑end close experience and management accounts preparation.
- Exposure to multi‑entity environments and consolidation principles (FRS 102).
- Strong Excel skills
- High attention to detail for controls and process improvement.
- Team player and clear communicator.
- Able to prioritise key tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
