Purpose of the role:
Day to day management of Global Custody Corporate actions, Income & Tax account Managers and Controls team located in Jersey.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a motivated team that is able to effectively interact with internal and external clients
- Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained at all times
- Enhance existing services and drive improvements through by working in partnership with all parties both internal and external to ensure we are providing high quality service to its full potential whilst remaining within the local remit
- Maintain the procedure manuals and checklists
- Undertake a leading role in project work as and when required, to enable changes driven by Group and/or Local Regulators
- To monitor service level of providers and 3rd parties and escalate as required
- Ensure a high quality service that meets the current Service Level Agreements with clients.
Skills required:
- A minimum of 3 years securities experience in a similar environment
- A professional Securities Institute qualification (IOC or IAC or equivalent)
- Excellent knowledge of FATCA & AEOI
- A good knowledge of Microsoft applications including Excel and Word
- An excellent understanding of the risk and controls related to Custody operations
- The ability to understand complex subjects.
