Purpose of the role:
To support the function of the Investment Manager Review team, which is responsible for the ongoing monitoring of investments held by client structures and the investment management service providers engaged by them.
Responsibilities:
- Input and review of portfolio valuation and asset allocation data
- Input and review of data related to portfolio mandates/risk profiles/restrictions etc.
- Meetings with representatives from investment management firms
- Review of due diligence information provided by Investment Managers
- Responding to ad hoc investment-related queries from trustees and clients
- Continuous improvement of team processes, including development and enhancement of reporting and team marketing material
Skills required:
- GCSE (or equivalent) grades A-C in five separate subjects including Mathematics and English
- A2 level (or equivalent) in a numerical subject
- Undergraduate degree, preferably in a finance-related or numerical subject
- Willingness to study for investment qualifications (e.g. IMC, PCIAM, CFA etc.)
- General interest in investment markets
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and applications, particularly Excel
